Texting terms
Who sends these texts
Businesses that use JobSense (such as electricians, installers and IT engineers) send appointment texts to their customers through JobSense. Each text shows the name of the business. JobSense is run by AXIS WORKPLACE TECHNOLOGY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16374487), whose registered office is at 450 London Road, Portsmouth, England, PO2 9LD.
What you'll receive
Texts about your own jobs with that business:
- confirmation that your request was received;
- your booking date and time, and a reminder the day before;
- a note when the engineer is on the way or has arrived;
- links to your report, quote or invoice;
- if the business has turned it on, one request for a review afterwards.
How often depends on your jobs, usually 2 to 6 texts per job. No marketing texts are sent.
How you agreed
You gave the business your mobile number when booking or requesting a visit (for example on its request form, which says it will text you about your visit), or the business added it when arranging the job with you.
Stopping texts
- UK and Ireland: texts come from the business's name, which can't receive replies. To stop them, contact the business directly and they'll remove your number; you'll get updates by email instead if they have it.
- Where texts come from a phone number (for example in the US): reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Reply START to receive them again.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier isn't responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your data
Your number is only used to send you texts about your jobs with that business. It isn't sold or used for marketing. See our Privacy policy.
Questions: contact the business that sent the text, or email hello@axis-it.co.uk.
